NOW HIRING: PAYROLL COORDINATOR Administration Building – Kearney PART-TIME | MONDAY–THURSDAY | FLEXIBLE HOURS Starting Wage: $20.00/hour Are you detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in payroll or accounting? We are looking for a Payroll Coordinator to join our Administration team! A GREAT PART-TIME OPPORTUNITY! This is a part-time position working Monday through Thursday , with flexible scheduling ! Employees may schedule their 20 hours per week at flexible times during our office hours of 8:00 AM–5:00 PM . Position Summary The Payroll Coordinator is responsible for processing payroll, submitting required agency financial reports, and performing other accounting duties for a non-profit organization. Key Responsibilities Prepare payroll every two weeks and complete all necessary payroll reporting. Complete accurate employee data entry into agency and payroll software systems. Maintain payroll and other assigned finance files and ensure files remain accurate and up to date. Process employee W-2 forms. Complete employee income verifications and unemployment audits as requested. Maintain accurate agency accounting records in compliance with agency accounting policies. Maintain a high degree of communication and coordination with the CFO, Administration staff, and other Agency staff. Assist with agency audits and program monitoring. Education Requirements Associate degree in accounting or finance is preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Required Skills & Qualifications Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with agency staff and the public. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong mathematical and analytical skills. Exceptional attention to detail. Ability to multitask and manage time effectively. Experience with Outlook, Word, Excel, and other computer software applications. Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding all agency matters. Schedule PART-TIME – 20 HOURS PER WEEK Monday–Thursday Flexible hours scheduled between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM You choose the schedule that works best for you within our regular office hours!
