Principal Industrial Water/Wastewater Consultant

Responsibilities Lead and support the growth of Arcadis’ industrial water/wastewater practice in the Gulf Coast and broader US. Engage with clients to understand needs, help create opportunities, and contribute to revenue growth. Lead pursuits and development of proposals, conduct client meetings for business development, and work with clients to determine needs and provide solutions. Participate in client interviews and collaborate with regional, national, and global client account teams to expand opportunities and relationships in the industrial water/wastewater portfolio. Serve as a technical expert during project execution and contribute to the Client Management / Development process. Serve as an Oil and Gas wastewater treatment subject matter expert; support the development of the Industrial Water process team within the Oil and Gas sector. Lead projects and clients in the planning, design and construction of industrial water/wastewater treatment plants and wastewater recycle plants. Coordinate multi-disciplined engineering teams; act as Subject Matter Expert for complex engineering designs for industrial water projects while collaborating with other design disciplines. Routine tasks include design basis documents, engineering calculations (mass and energy balances), review of engineering drawings (P&IDs and Layout), equipment specifications, instrumentation and controls engineering reports and feasibility studies, and quality reviews. Manage technical coordination and leadership on larger or complex projects, and lead knowledge transfer and staff development within your area of expertise. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental, Civil, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred. 20+ years of industrial water/wastewater treatment experience. Experience across engineering, project management, sustainability, sales, marketing, and technology roles. Knowledge and experience with industrial clients in North America. Strong experience in developing and leading large industrial wastewater capital projects. Preferred Qualifications Professional Engineer License Knowledge and experience with multinational industrial clients Experience in a regional or national role and collaboration across regional teams #J-18808-Ljbffr
