Duties include proper charging, billing, receiving, statistical recording, financial transactions, and record maintenance/inquiry for all patients. The Clerk must maintain a positive attitude toward patients, visitors, and staff, exhibit professional conflict management, and work effectively in a fast‑paced environment. Reports To Patient Access Supervisor Education High school diploma or equivalent Required Qualifications Clerical or secretarial experience, preferably in a hospital or health‑related environment, and typing speed of 40 words per minute. Positive interpersonal skills and professional customer service attitude. Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to manage conflict professionally. Strong team player with the ability to work independently. Strong critical thinking and problem‑solving skills. Preferred Qualifications Minimum 6 months of medical clerical experience. Knowledge of medical terminology. Compensation Pay range: $19.68–$26.86 per hour (base pay). Night differential of $6 per hour is not included.
