Procurement Specialist

Our client, a leader in manufacturing and supply chain solutions, is seeking a USA|Procurement Specialist 4 to join their team. As a USA|Procurement Specialist 4, you will be part of the procurement department supporting various operational teams. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent negotiation abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: USA|Procurement Specialist 4

Location: Houston, TX

Pay Range: $36/hour

Shift: 1

What's the Job?

• Develop complex buying strategies to purchase and arrange timely deliveries of supplies and materials.

• Serve as liaison between vendors and internal users to resolve delivery, quality, or invoice-related issues.

• Review and analyze requisitions and supply plans for domestic and international purchases, developing project plans and purchasing systems.

• Negotiate prices, terms, and quality requirements; evaluate market conditions and develop new supply sources.

• Manage supplier relationships, conduct negotiations, and support supplier qualification, evaluation, and development processes.

What's Needed?

• Strong experience in SAP and procurement processes.

• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

• Ability to develop and implement purchasing strategies and cost-saving initiatives.

• Proficiency in managing supplier relationships and negotiations.
