Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An exciting opportunity awaits for a dedicated Special Education Teacher to make a meaningful impact in a supportive and collaborative elementary school environment. This contract position offers full-time hours within a resource-setting classroom, working with 1st through 4th grade students. You’ll join a passionate team with a manageable caseload, ample support from 1:1 paraprofessionals, and input from behavior analysts, all working towards individual student success.

Key Qualifications:

• Active New Hampshire Educator Teaching Certification
• Experience as a Special Education Teacher, specifically supporting students in grades 1–4
• Strong understanding of resource room and inclusion models
• Ability to manage, implement, and track individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborative spirit and excellent communication skills for working alongside fellow case managers, paras, and behavior staff

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction in a resource setting, with occasional classroom push-ins as needed
• Manage a caseload of approximately 15–20 students in grades 1–4, ensuring IEP goals are met
• Partner with two other case managers to ensure all students receive appropriate support and services
• Coordinate with paraprofessionals and behavior analysts to support diverse learning needs
• Maintain accurate records, prepare necessary documentation, and participate in IEP meetings and parent conferences
• Engage in professional development and uphold best practices in SPED

This full-time contract covers the 2026–2027 school year, with the main assignment from August 31, 2026, to June 17, 2027; some planning days outside these dates may be needed.
