Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Bring your expertise in Special Education to an engaging contract role supporting young learners in a resource setting classroom near Tilton, NH. This full-time position runs from August 31st, 2026 through June 17th, 2026, with potential for pre- and post-planning days to ensure a smooth transition for both staff and students. Work closely with dynamic educational professionals, including fellow special education case managers, dedicated paraprofessionals, and behavior analysts.

Your primary focus will be students in first through fourth grades, managing a caseload of approximately 15-20 students. While most instruction takes place in a resource setting, there may be opportunities to support students within general education classrooms, fostering both academic and social growth. You’ll collaborate with a supportive team, share in planning responsibilities, and advocate for individualized education plans to help every student reach their full potential.

Qualifications:

• Active New Hampshire Educator Teaching Certification required
• Demonstrated experience as a Special Education Teacher, specifically with grades 1–4
• Strong understanding of resource and inclusion models in elementary education
• Ability to manage a moderate caseload and collaborate with multidisciplinary staff
• Excellent communication skills with students, colleagues, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs tailored to individual student needs
• Deliver engaging, evidence-based instruction in both resource and inclusive settings
