Part Time Tax Preparer & Bookkeeper

Are you a self-starter with a passion for numbers and great customer service? We’re looking for an out-going, detail-oriented professional with bookkeeping and tax preparation experience to join our team on a part-time, flexible basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to supplement their personal responsibilities with meaningful work and who thrives in a supportive environment, enjoys a variety of tasks, takes pride in their work and enjoys helping others.

Hours:

Off-season (May–January): 10–15 hours/week
Busy season (February–April): Approximately 20 hours/week

Responsibilities:

Monthly bookkeeping for small businesses
Sales tax filings
Individual and business tax preparation
Reception duties and client scheduling
Office organization and administrative support
Providing warm, friendly service to our valued clients

Requirements:

Experience in accounting and tax preparation is a must
Excellent communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Education:

Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

Bookkeeping: 1 year (Required)
Income Tax Preparation: 3 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

AFSP (must be able to pass test and acquire) (Preferred)
