Income Tax Preparer

What you will be doing - * Preparation and review of individual income tax returns(required) * Preparation and review of partnership returns (required) * Preparation and review of S-Corp returns (required) What you'll bring - * Knowledge of computer software; MS Excel and Word * Knowledge of ProSeries tax software and QB Accounting * Excellent communication skills both written and verbal * Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet assigned deadlines * Must be a team player in a professional office environment * 1 or more years of recent experience preparing federal and state individual 1040 tax returns using commercial tax preparation software * Critical thinking, problem solving, research skills and determination * Prior experience documenting client interactions Typical hours are 8am-5pm Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week Compensation package: * Hourly pay Experience level: * 1 year * 2 years Weekly day range: * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Education: * High school or equivalent (Preferred) * Tax Preparer Certifications Experience: * OFFICE WORK: 2 years (Required) * Tax Experience: 2 years (Required) License/Certification: * Enrolled Agent (Preferred) * ID (Required) Work Location: In person Candidate must be able to pass background check and drug test.
