Hiring Department University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Humanities and Social Sciences Department of Economics Job Description The Department of Economics is continuously seeking qualified candidates for part‑time Adjunct Instructor teaching positions. The position is non‑benefit eligible and the rank is Adjunct Instructor. The faculty member will provide instruction in any number of areas in which they qualify, including (but not limited to) microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics, or other areas of economics. The days and hours will vary depending on the opportunity that is available. This is a part‑time, non‑benefit eligible unranked position. The appointment period is for the semester, with consideration for reappointment. Responsibilities The faculty member will provide instruction in assigned courses within the department. Qualifications Graduate degree in Economics or a closely related discipline. Benefits This position is not eligible for University benefits.
