Production Supervisor

Your Job Georgia-Pacific is hiring an added-capability Production Supervisor at our Lebanon, TN Facility. The Supervisor will use leadership, operations experience, and communication skills to identify and convert change‑improvement opportunities related to people, processes, and systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate safety as a value and lead a crew of employees to exceed production expectations for the shift. This role will be a 2nd shift position, and normal hours will be 2 PM – 10 PM (Monday – Friday). Our Team The team in Lebanon, TN specializes in corrugated sheet making. The Lebanon facility is located approximately 35 miles east of downtown Nashville. Lebanon is situated in some of the most beautiful parts of TN, and there is no shortage of activities, whether outdoors or indoors. To learn more about this facility and our Packaging division, please visit: What You Will Do Drive safety excellence through promoting employee involvement, ownership, and accountability to proactively identify hazards and implement appropriate mitigating strategies; investigate incidents and participate in resolution of causes Coach, train, and develop operations personnel in safety, quality, and production Ensure best practices are followed for minimization of waste at machine centers Own the production process and accountability and follow through with the Production, Quality, Shipping, Maintenance teams Provide leadership and support across all functions in the facility Actively engage in continuous improvement activities and leverage the expertise of capability groups within Georgia‑Pacific Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) Experience supervising employees within a manufacturing, production, industrial, or military environment Must have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship What Will Put You Ahead Bachelor’s degree or higher Experience managing print, corrugated/converting, or packaging production operations Experience with ERP systems Hiring Philosophy At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
