This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys staying organized, working with people, and keeping daily operations running smoothly.Job SummaryThe Dispatch Coordinator helps schedule deliveries, plan routes, and communicate with customers, drivers, and warehouse staff. This person plays an important role in making sure products are delivered safely and on time.ResponsibilitiesSchedule and coordinate deliveries with customers and the sales team.Work closely with warehouse staff to ensure orders are delivered on time.Create and manage delivery routes.Monitor delivery equipment and help ensure safe operation.Make sure trucks are loaded within weight limits.Review job site needs and assign the correct delivery vehicle.Help resolve vehicle and delivery-related issues.Keep customers updated on the status of their deliveries.Handle multiple tasks and changing priorities throughout the day.RequirementsPrevious dispatch or logistics experience is preferred.Strong communication and customer service skills.Ability to stay organized and manage several tasks at once.Able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.Knowledge of DOT and OSHA regulations is a plus.Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.ScheduleMonday through Friday6:00 AM to 4:30 PMCandidates should be flexible, as occasional overtime may be required and some days may extend to 5:00 PMPay & Benefits$28/hrEvaluation HireBenefits upon hire may include:Health, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchEmployee Assistance ProgramCompany-paid short-term and long-term disability coverageCompany-paid life insuranceFlexible spending account optionsPaid vacationPaid sick timePaid holidays
