Order Management Specialist

We are looking for a detail-oriented Order Management Specialist to join our Supply Chain team. In this role, you will oversee the order lifecycle from customer onboarding through fulfillment and post-sale support, ensuring exceptional customer service and operational accuracy. Success in this position requires strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 , excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage order exceptions and escalations.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Pay Rate Range: $24.00-$26.00/hr.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage customer onboarding and account setup.

• Review and process customer purchase orders accurately and efficiently.

• Validate, update, and maintain order information in Dynamics 365.

• Perform compliance and credit checks while maintaining documentation per company policies.

• Coordinate order status and shipment updates with vendors, suppliers, and 3PL partners.

• Provide customers with order updates, expected ship dates, and issue resolution throughout the order lifecycle.

• Process sales orders, vendor receipts, and invoicing activities.

• Manage escalations and exceptions to ensure a seamless customer experience.

• Support invoicing, customer credits, and billing adjustments.

• Maintain accurate records of order transactions, communications, and changes.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in order management, customer service, or operations.

• Experience in technology, equipment sales, or distribution environments preferred.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics 365, SharePoint, and Excel .

• Strong understanding of sales orders (SOs), purchase orders (POs), and service order workflows.

• Experience collaborating with Purchasing, Production, Shipping/Logistics, and Finance teams.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods.

• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds as needed.
