Job Summary

A stable, established manufacturing-related company in San Clemente, CA is seeking a Senior Accountant & Business Ops professional for a temp-to-hire opportunity. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for an experienced accounting and business operations specialist who has served as a trusted partner to ownership, executives, or senior management.

The ideal candidate brings strong accounting expertise, sound business judgment, and the ability to identify issues, follow through on priorities, and support the practical needs of a growing business. Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close.
- Prepare financial reports, analyze results, and provide clear insights to business owners and senior leadership.
- Monitor accounting activity and operational performance to identify concerns, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
- Support leadership with reporting, analysis, special projects, and cross-functional business initiatives.
- Improve accounting processes, internal controls, follow-through, and overall business efficiency.
- Assist with operational and administrative responsibilities as needed to help keep the business running smoothly.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay range: $38 to $48 per hour.
