Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) | Camden, New Jersey
$62 - $76 per hourSoliant Health
This role requires a bilingual Pharmacist in Charge with strong leadership and community pharmacy experience. The position offers contract or contract-to-hire options, working Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM, and Saturdays from 9 AM to 1 PM.
Location: Camden, NJ
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Saturday, 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
- Active and clear NJ pharmacy license
- Minimum 2 years of management experience
- At least 3 years recent community pharmacy experience preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is required
- Proficient with Pioneer RX pharmacy software
- Ensure full regulatory compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws
- Lead investigations into any improper pharmacy activities
- Manage, train, and supervise pharmacy staff including pharmacists and technicians
- Develop, implement, and enforce policies related to medication dispensing, safety, and security
- Maintain accurate inventory records and proper controlled substance storage
- Implement patient safety and quality assurance programs, including patient counseling and performance improvements
- Prescription volume averages 20-25 scripts per day
- Supported by a reliable pharmacy technician team
