Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sales Marketing Manager based out of our Louisville, KY office. The Sales Manager will develop and execute effective sales strategies and cultivate strong relationships with key clients. Responsibilities include conducting market research to identify business opportunities to drive revenue growth. The role also includes collaborating with cross-functional teams, preparing sales forecasts, and maintaining a deep understanding of industry trends and customer needs.

Key Roles/Responsibilities: –

• Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute effective sales strategies to drive growth in the specialty liquor market segment.
• Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understand their requirements, and provide tailored solutions to meet their needs.
• New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the specialized market segment, including prospecting, lead generation, and conversion.
• Product Positioning and Promotion: Collaborate internally to create marketing materials for increasing PGP product positioning and messaging through exhibitions.
• Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Analyze sales data, track performance metrics, and provide regular reports to management on sales forecasts, market trends, and competitive analysis.
• Develop Annual Sales Budgeting for Assigned Customers and New Potential Accounts 
• Technically oriented or keen to learn about the technical aspect of glass manufacturing and decoration 
• Provide customer-driven insights to support new product development, sustainability initiatives, and design trends
• Willing and able to travel regularly and make cold calls as part of sales growth strategy
• Travel to customers, company corporate and manufacturing location.
• Representing the company at trade shows, networking events, and client meetings

Qualifications and Skills: 

• College graduate
• Strong account management and negotiation skills
• Knowledge of glass packaging containers is preferred but not required
• Passionate about the Liquor Industry and its trends 
• CRM and Microsoft Office proficiency
• Willingness to travel regionally
