We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and dependable Toddler Teacher to lead a classroom of 2-year-old children and provide a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment. Position Overview The Toddler Teacher is responsible for planning and implementing activities that support the social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development of two-year-old children. The ideal candidate is patient, enthusiastic, and passionate about early childhood education, with the ability to foster strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues. Key Responsibilities Provide a safe, loving, and stimulating environment for children ages 24-36 months. Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans, activities, and learning experiences. Support children's language development, social skills, and emotional growth. Encourage independence through daily routines and self-help skills. Supervise and interact with children during classroom activities, meals, outdoor play, and rest periods. Assist with diapering, potty training, handwashing, and other personal care needs. Monitor and document developmental milestones and classroom observations. Use positive behavior guidance techniques to support children's learning and development. Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment. Follow all state licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and center policies. Build positive relationships with families and provide regular communication regarding children's progress. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to create a high-quality early learning experience. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Minimum one year of experience working with toddlers in a daycare, childcare center, preschool, or early learning environment. Strong understanding of toddler development and age-appropriate practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Ability to frequently bend, lift, sit on the floor, and actively engage with children throughout the day. Preferred Qualifications Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential. Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field. CPR and First Aid Certification. Experience with potty training and toddler classroom management.
