The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the CFO, the Director of FP&A is a key member of the finance leadership team, responsible for connecting financial planning and performance analytics directly to value creation. This role owns the annual operating plan, and performance reporting, while leading a team of FP&A analysts and serving as a thought partner to the CFO on financial strategy and transformation priorities.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Lead the annual operating plan, rolling forecasts, and multi-year financial models, directly linked to the company's value creation metrics.
• Partner with functional leaders across the business to identify and quantify opportunities in margin expansion, SG&A efficiency, and working capital optimization.
• Build scenario and “what-if” models to stress test strategic initiatives and quantify their impact on P&L, cash flow, and EBITDA.
• Design and implement performance dashboards and KPI scorecards that drive accountability across the business.
• Own profitability analytics to inform pricing, product mix, and channel strategy decisions.
• Prepare clear, insight-driven financial packages for senior leadership and the private equity sponsor.
• Support M&A activity, including target evaluation, financial due diligence, and post-close integration performance tracking.
• Manage and develop a team of FP&A analysts, setting priorities, reviewing work product, and building their skills over time.
• Establish clear standards for accuracy, turnaround time, and presentation quality across the team's output.
• Drive FP&A process automation and closer integration with core systems to produce faster, cleaner, and more actionable insights.
• Pressure test forecasts and assumptions, and insist on fact-based decision making across the organization.
• Serve as a thought partner to the CFO in shaping the company's financial strategy and transformation priorities.

What You Bring 

Required Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar field ; MBA, CPA, or CFA strongly preferred.
• 10+ years progressive FP&A experience. 
• Mastery of financial modeling, sensitivity/scenario analysis, and operational KPI development.
• Expertise in manufacturing cost structures, standard costing, and inventory optimization.
• Hands-on ERP (JDE) and BI experience (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, etc.).
• Resilient, detail-oriented, and thrives under pressure; a proactive driver of change, not just a reporter of numbers.

Preferred Qualifications: 

• MBA or Master’s degree in relevant field strongly preferred. 
• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing environment with exposure to planning and reporting in comparable industry. 
• Experience deploying technology to improve process efficiency and effectiveness.
