Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 36 Hours/Week Guaranteed | Rotating Weekends | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical unit serving adult and geriatric populations
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:6, ensuring safe and effective nursing care throughout each shift
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using Meditech EHR
• Float to other units as required to support staffing needs across the facility
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and take ownership of assigned patient caseload

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience (5 years preferred)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Demonstrated Med/Surg clinical skills and competencies
• Ability and willingness to float to other units as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 5 or more years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience
• Prior experience with Meditech electronic health record system
• Experience caring for adult and geriatric patient populations
