Our client seeks a Systems Analyst to join the Workplace Investing Technology team supporting the Defined Benefit platform. The role contributes to mission-critical pension systems by translating complex business needs into scalable solutions, improving data integrity, and supporting platform performance in a collaborative, iterative delivery environment.

Rate: $50.00 to $56.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Defined Benefit stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable user stories and backlog items.
• Perform complex data analysis and data mining across recordkeeping systems to support insights and issue resolution.
• Partner with technical leads and architects to design, document, and maintain system flows, data models, and integration patterns.
• Support the design and documentation of API contracts and enterprise integrations aligned with standards.
• Develop understanding of end-to-end DB platform architecture to conduct impact analysis across interconnected systems.
• Support production issue triage, root cause analysis, and timely resolution, including writing SQL queries and reading Java/Spring code.
• Contribute to iterative planning, team ceremonies, and continuous improvement to enhance delivery quality and efficiency.

Experience Requirements:

• 4 to 6 years as a systems analyst with application lifecycle management and production support.
• Experience with financial systems, recordkeeping platforms, or retirement and benefits administration. Defined Benefit preferred.
• Ability to convert business processes into clear epics, stories, and requirements.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret complex business rules and translate them into technical solutions.
• Proficiency with SQL for extensive data analysis.
• Understanding of REST, SOAP, JSON, and APIs. Ability to read Java and Spring code preferred.
• Effective written and verbal communication with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
• Proven success in a coordinated, iterative delivery environment with shared ownership.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure preferred.
• Experience with data governance, reconciliation, and audit processes preferred.

Education Requirements:
BS or above in a relevant field.
