Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Carlsbad, NM, providing teletherapy services to school-aged children. This role focuses on delivering high-quality speech and language intervention using telespeech methods within an educational setting.
Key responsibilities include conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs, and delivering therapy sessions via virtual platforms. The SLP will collaborate with educators and families to support student communication goals and track progress effectively.
Qualifications and experience required:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Proven experience providing telespeech services to school-aged children
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development milestones and disorders
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to virtual formats
- Familiarity with educational assessments and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Location: Remote teletherapy services with contract placement in Carlsbad, NM.
This contract role is ideal for an experienced SLP seeking to deliver evidence-based speech therapy through telepractice within a supportive school environment. Flexible scheduling and professional growth opportunities are inherent in this position.
