Inventory Specialist

TRC Talent Solution is looking for an Inventory Specialist for our client in Newnan, GA!

JOB SUMMARY:

Functions under the direction of the Supply Chain Supervisor or Manager. Responsible for daily supply assessment and replenishment of supplies for nursing and procedural units. Responsible for the storage and distribution of supplies for a perpetual inventory or PAR allocation. 

Shift: 6:00am-2:30pm Flexible 

Pay: 19.00-20.00/hr. DOE
Location: Newnan, GA 30265

Responsibilities

• Perform daily supply assessment and replenishment for nursing and procedural units

• Monitor stock levels, backorders, and supply availability

• Request and coordinate stat shipments through consolidated service centers

• Check expiration dates and rotate stock during replenishment activities

• Retrieve, clean, issue, and maintain minor medical equipment

• Process requisitions, pick tickets, stock credits, and supply returns

• Assist with cycle counts and inventory accuracy initiatives

• Stage and retrieve outbound freight for transport between facilities

• Coordinate inter-facility transportation of goods and supplies

• Maintain transportation logs for outbound freight movements

• Receive, handle, and transport pharmaceuticals within the facility

• Serve as a liaison between clinical staff and supply chain operations

• Maintain clear, professional communication with hospital personnel and suppliers

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required

• 2–5 years of inventory management experience required

• 1+ year of healthcare distribution or consolidated services experience preferred

• Strong communication skills (verbal and written English required)

• Ability to operate PCs, handheld devices, and inventory systems

• Experience with Lawson, Mobile Supply Chain, Outlook, Teams, and shared drives preferred

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory processes

• Ability to work directly with clinicians and hospital staff in a fast-paced environment

• Reliable employment history

• Compliance with vaccination requirements (COVID/flu or approved exemption)
