Lube & Service Technician

Hunter Chevrolet is seeking a dependable and motivated Lube & Service Technician to join our service department.
If you have some hands-on experience with vehicles and want to grow your automotive skills, this is a great opportunity to learn from experienced technicians while gaining valuable experience in a professional shop environment.
What You'll Do
Maintenance & Service
- Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and routine vehicle inspections.
- Complete scheduled preventative maintenance services.
- Assist with basic repairs and service work.
- Follow manufacturer recommendations and established service procedures.
- Operate automotive tools, equipment, and diagnostic technology as needed.
- Accurately record services and repairs that have been completed.
Shop & Team Support
- Work closely with experienced technicians and learn new skills.
- Follow all shop safety procedures and maintain professional work standards.
- Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe.
- Complete assigned work efficiently and accurately.
- Communicate with team members and ask questions when additional guidance is needed.
- Continue developing your automotive knowledge and technical abilities.
What We're Looking For
- Previous automotive or mechanical experience is preferred .
- Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance, automotive systems, and tools.
- Interest in developing a long-term career in automotive service.
- Dependable with a strong work ethic.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Able to work well with a team and follow instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
