Key Responsibilities

As a Doctor of Physical Therapy at Retain Wellness, you will play a vital role in enhancing patient outcomes through tailored treatment plans and active support. Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Delivering high-quality, safe, and compassionate patient care in both acute and outpatient settings.

• Implementing individualized treatment programs based on evaluations and established care plans.

• Conducting thorough assessments that include reviewing patient histories, performing specific evaluations, and documenting all findings accurately.

• Completing effective discharge planning and providing follow-up care to ensure continuity of care.

• Accurately documenting patient care activities and maintaining clinical records in compliance with healthcare regulations.

• Communicating openly and respectfully with colleagues, healthcare providers, and patients to foster trust and a collaborative spirit.

• Participating in facility meetings and contributing to the evolution of departmental practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with diverse patient populations, focusing on those experiencing orthopedic conditions. This role provides an opportunity to impact the lives of individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic pain, enhancing their physical function and quality of life through dedicated rehabilitation.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program.

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.

• A valid physical therapy license in the state of Florida is mandatory.

• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers.

Preferred Experience

We seek candidates with at least 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, demonstrating a strong foundation in physical therapy practices, patient assessment, and treatment implementation. Experience in an interdisciplinary team environment is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits
