Work Environment

This position is based onsite in our outpatient office, where you will interact directly with patients in a welcoming and well-equipped setting. Our outpatient facilities are designed with the latest technologies and equipment to facilitate effective treatment and recovery. Your typical work hours will be Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Adhering to state practice acts and regulations governing physical therapy, ensuring compliance in every aspect of practice.
• Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients with functional limitations and disabilities, utilizing a combination of clinical assessments and patient history.
• Developing personalized treatment plans based on evaluation findings, ensuring that patient goals align with best practices in rehabilitation.
• Implementing treatment protocols using appropriate therapeutic interventions, demonstrating adaptability to meet the needs of individual patients.
• Monitoring and documenting changes in patient conditions, making adjustments to the plan of care as necessary and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes.
• Completing timely and accurate documentation of patient care activities, including detailed evaluation notes, progress summaries, and discharge plans that clearly outline patient trajectories.
• Ensuring you stay up to date on corporate and clinical training requirements while adhering to all local, state, and federal regulations.
• Participating in facility meetings and contributing to team initiatives aimed at optimizing patient access and care quality.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus is on delivering care to patients undergoing rehabilitation for orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, chronic pain syndromes, and other musculoskeletal issues. Your role will be pivotal in helping patients regain mobility and function through effective treatment modalities and compassionate care.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited physical therapy program.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Two years of clinical experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• A valid CPR certificate to ensure safety during patient care.

Preferred Experience
