Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our dedicated Rehabilitation Center in Clearwater. Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, and execute tailored treatment programs for patients referred by physicians, ensuring they receive comprehensive assessments and ongoing support.
• Enhance patient experience by delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining effective communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Collaboratively work with healthcare professionals to develop and implement evidence-based treatment regimens across a variety of specialties.
• Document patient progress meticulously to assess the effectiveness of interventions and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Educate and empower patients and their caregivers through consultations, training, and demonstrations of therapeutic exercises and self-care strategies.
• Meet utilization goals and contribute to facility objectives while ensuring patient-focused care remains a priority.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including individuals with orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine needs. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy (with a Doctorate being preferred) from an APTA or CAPTE-approved institution.
• Current State License in Physical Therapy in Florida.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively connect with patients and build rapport, essential for trust and therapeutic success.
• Proficiency in document management and electronic health record systems.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to articulate treatment plans and patient progress clearly.

Preferred Experience

• Two years of clinical experience as a licensed Physical Therapist, with a preference for experience in diverse treatment settings.
• Proficiency in using rehabilitation technologies and methods to aid patient recovery.
• Experience with interdisciplinary collaboration and patient-centered care approaches.
