About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Corporate Controller to join their team. The successful candidate will be a senior enterprise leader with a strong background in financial reporting, accounting operations, and the development of a high-performing leadership team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of the company's financial reporting, as well as maintaining operational effectiveness and compliance with U.S. GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements. The VP, Corporate Controller will be the senior technical accounting authority, responsible for all aspects of accounting, including SEC reporting, internal controls, and external audits. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, an active CPA license, and at least 15 years of accounting and finance experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior financial leadership position. The role requires a candidate with deep technical accounting expertise, the ability to lead a large accounting organization, and a proven track record of influencing enterprise decisions. The VP, Corporate Controller will also be expected to drive finance transformation, process improvement, and automation initiatives, and to serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership. Experience in a multi-location retail, consumer, or distribution business, as well as with capital markets, investor relations, treasury, tax, or financial planning and analysis, is preferred.
