Overview
A prominent large law firm is growing its Class Action Practice Group and seeking a Senior Associate Attorney or Senior Counsel with a labor and employment focus. This is an opportunity to litigate high-stakes, innovative class action matters alongside a collaborative team of skilled professionals.
What you'll do
- Litigate a variety of high-profile class action cases, with a particular focus on labor and employment class actions
- Develop case strategies and provide support throughout all aspects of litigation, from discovery to trial
- Provide strategic counsel to clients on complex legal issues
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality legal solutions
- Maintain direct client relationships and manage case teams effectively
Required qualifications
- JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record
- Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction
- 7+ years of substantive experience in complex litigation with a focus on class actions
- Extensive experience defending class action lawsuits, including employment discrimination, workplace privacy, and EEOC/DOL matters; wage and hour claims, statutory or common law privacy issues; and products liability and consumer fraud disputes
- Exceptional legal research and writing skills
- A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset and a desire to tackle cutting-edge legal issues
Compensation and benefits
- Expected annual base salary of $350,000+, as determined by experience and market factors
