We are looking for a  talented   Legal Assistant to become a team member at our law firm.

 

If you are  detail oriented ,  organized , have strong  multi-tasking skills, a strong  work ethic and comfortable working in a  fast-paced environment we want you!

 

Responsibilities :

• Prepare accurate, error-free, and properly formatted legal documents and correspondence from dictation, handwritten drafts, or Word document.
• Compile, type, revise, combine, edit, print, and store documents in an electronic case management system.
• Schedule appointments, including meetings, conferences, court dates, and depositions.
• Review, prioritize, and route incoming mail.
• Enter billable time and expenses in firm's time and billing system.

Qualifications :

• Experience in civil litigation required; defense litigation experience is a bonus.
• Knowledgeable about State and Federal Court rules, filing procedures and Efiling systems.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.).
• Clio experience is a bonus.
• Able to prepare accurate and error-free documents.
