Research Operations Coordinator

Position Summary ImmunoVec is a biotechnology company pioneering in vivo cell engineering through non-viral DNA delivery. Our team is developing a new class of therapies that enable precise, controllable gene expression in targeted immune cells. Supported by a multi-year award from the ARPA‑H EMBODY program, ImmunoVec is expanding its R&D team to advance programs in autoimmune disease and oncology. The Research Operations Coordinator is a full-time role that supports the day‑to‑day operations of a dynamic, fast‑growing research laboratory. The successful candidate will implement and manage multiple cloud based systems to track experiments, results, and physical inventory needed to complete our research projects. They will ensure that various teams within the company are aware of project timelines and that they have the information and supplies needed to complete complex tasks on schedule. They will work closely with the Lab Manager to ensure seamless operations in a dynamic, fast paced environment. Responsibilities Track project timelines and ensure that leaders of various departments are aware of upcoming deadlines, with special attention to funding milestones. Design inventory tracking systems within a lab management environment (e.g. Benchling) and use these systems to maintain accurate inventories of high value research products such as experimental delivery vehicles and nucleic acids. Integrate the inventory management system with an electronic lab notebook system. Track, receive, and properly store incoming shipments; coordinate outgoing packages and maintain detailed inventory records. Provide executive‑level administrative support to multiple team members, including coordinating with contractors, scheduling events, and arranging travel. Ideal Candidate Highly organized and detail‑oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced research environment without compromising accuracy. Has research lab experience and is familiar with commonly used electronic laboratory notebooks and inventory tracking systems such as SciNote, Quartzy, LabGuru, Benchling, or SmartSheet. Exhibits excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with vendors, service providers, and internal team members. Thrives in a collaborative team environment and is eager to take ownership of the organizational systems that help the team maximize their performance.
