This role will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, equipment, and services while ensuring quality, cost, and delivery objectives are met. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver who can build strong supplier relationships and support a fast-paced manufacturing environment.What You'll DoSource and purchase raw materials, components, packaging, equipment, and services needed to support operationsCreate, maintain, and monitor purchase orders while ensuring compliance with purchasing proceduresReview inventory levels, forecasts, and production schedules to determine purchasing requirementsMonitor supplier pricing, lead times, delivery schedules, and quality performanceExpedite critical orders and resolve shortages, delays, pricing discrepancies, and supplier-related issuesNegotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, minimum order quantities, and supplier agreementsPartner with Production, Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to support production requirements and new product introductionsEvaluate supplier quotations and make sourcing recommendations based on cost, quality, service, and delivery performanceSupport supplier qualification, audits, and performance improvement initiativesMaintain accurate purchasing records, supplier information, pricing data, and procurement documentation within ERP/MRP systemsAnalyze purchasing and supplier performance data to identify cost-saving and continuous improvement opportunitiesAssist with inventory management efforts focused on reducing shortages, excess inventory, and obsolete materialsDevelop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholdersSupport strategic sourcing, supply continuity, and cost reduction initiativesWhat We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field, or equivalent experienceMinimum of 3 years of purchasing, procurement, sourcing, or supply chain experienceExperience within manufacturing, construction, commercial construction, industrial, medical device, or related environments strongly preferredExperience managing purchase orders and procurement activities within ERP or MRP systemsKnowledge of purchasing principles, inventory management, material planning, and supplier managementExperience negotiating pricing, lead times, supplier agreements, and payment termsAbility to read and interpret technical specifications, drawings, and bills of materialsStrong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsExcellent communication and relationship-building skillsAdvanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience within a regulated manufacturing or medical device environmentKnowledge of FDA, ISO 13485, GMP, and supplier quality requirementsExperience with supplier qualification, supplier performance management, and corrective action processesStrong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and inventory planning toolsUnderstanding of strategic sourcing, total cost analysis, and cost-reduction methodologiesFamiliarity with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement principlesProven negotiation and supplier relationship management skillsStrong attention to detail, documentation, and quality standardsWhy Join Lamboo Medical?Opportunity to make an immediate impact within a growing and innovative organizationWork closely with cross-functional teams supporting critical manufacturing operationsGain valuable experience in a dynamic medical manufacturing environmentCollaborative culture with a focus on operational excellence and continuous improvementCompetitive compensation for the duration of the contractAbout Lamboo MedicalLamboo Medical develops innovative and sustainable medical products that support healthcare providers and patients.
