Position Overview

As a Registered Nurse Float, your insights and contributions to patient care are highly regarded and encouraged at every level. Whether through collaborative interactions with your direct supervisor or more structured roles in hospital councils and national nursing initiatives, you will play a vital role in shaping decisions that enhance patient outcomes and the nursing profession.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The primary responsibility of the Registered Nurse is to deliver patient care under the guidance of the Nurse Manager or Director. This role involves providing both therapeutic and administrative services essential for patient care, aligning with the mission of our organization. The Registered Nurse in the Float Pool will care for a diverse patient demographic, including:

• Infants and pediatric patients
• Adolescents aged 12-18 years
• Adults aged 18-64 years
• Geriatric patients aged 65 years and older

Qualifications Required

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 6 months of starting employment
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Associate Degree in Nursing
