About This Role The Travel RN-Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room at Northwell Health is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in a fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for experienced nurses looking for a flexible contract position. Highlights Pay: $2902/week Location: Danbury, CT Facility: Northwell Health Schedule: Full-Time What You’ll Do Performs an age-specific plan of care for a designated group of patients. Collaborates with physicians and health team members in coordinating procedures and treatments. Assess the patient’s physiologic health status. Conduct patient interviews and explains policies and procedures. Assess gastrointestinal, cardiovascular, respiratory, renal, and neurological health status. Determine mobility, sensory deficits, and skin condition. Communicate and document patient’s physiologic health status and plan of care. Develop criteria for measurement of patient outcomes. Implement the plan of care and maintain constant vigilance over patient care. Administer medications correctly and safely. Requirements Education: Associate’s Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred. Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of professional nursing experience in the related specialty. Licenses & Certifications: Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State and/or Connecticut required. BLS certification required. ACLS, PALS, TNCC required.
