Supervisor, Safety & Security Programs

We have an opening in our Service Delivery Admin department for a Supervisor, Safety & Security Programs. Job Description Position Summary The Supervisor, Safety & Security Programs is responsible for the development, implementation, administration, and continuous improvement of the Company’s Environmental Health, Safety & Security (EHSS) programs. This role ensures compliance with all applicable regulations while promoting a strong safety culture across the organization. The position provides leadership to EHSS personnel, establishes a scalable reporting structure, and ensures consistent ownership of safety and security initiatives. Key Responsibilities Lead, administer, and improve EHSS programs and policies Establish and maintain a scalable reporting structure for safety & security Supervise and lead EHSS staff in day-to-day operations Directly oversee incident and accident investigations Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA, DOT, and other regulatory requirements Lead audits, inspections, and facility compliance assessments Analyze safety data and trends to drive improvements Serve as advisor to leadership and employees on safety matters Participate in safety councils and pre-construction meetings Evaluate new projects for safety risks and recommend improvements Administer safety & security annual budgets Exercise authority to suspend unsafe work activities Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety & Health or related field required Minimum 5 years EHSS experience required; leadership experience preferred Experience in utilities or construction a plus Certified Safety Professional (CSP) strongly preferred Skills & Competencies Strong leadership and team management Excellent communication and public speaking skills Ability to manage multiple priorities Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Valid driver’s license required Compensation Type: Annual Salary Compensation Range: Grade 7 - Salary $79,361.00 - 142,871.00 Primary Work Location: 55 Sebethe Cromwell, Connecticut, 06416 United States Work Environment and Physical Demands Code: B - Blend EEO Statement: Our company provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, genetics, pregnancy, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, marital status, protected veteran or other status protected by federal, state, and local laws. #J-18808-Ljbffr CTwater
