About the Role

Corgi is building a rapidly growing commercial trucking insurance program, and we’re hiring Business Development Representatives to help expand our national distribution.

\n

\n

As a BDR, you’ll be responsible for developing relationships with trucking insurance brokers, fleet operators, and other distribution partners. You’ll learn the fundamentals of commercial trucking insurance, build and manage a pipeline, and work closely with our sales, underwriting, and program teams to move opportunities from initial outreach through onboarding and first bind.

This is an in-office, high-accountability sales role designed for people who want to learn quickly, produce early, and grow into larger responsibilities.

\n

What You’ll Do

\n

\n

* Prospect and develop relationships with insurance brokers, trucking companies, fleets, and distribution partners

\n

* Make 100+ outbound calls and 30+ emails per day

\n

* Research prospective accounts and understand their operations before outreach

\n

* Build and maintain a high-quality sales pipeline

\n

* Qualify opportunities and transition them to Account Executives with clear context and next steps

\n

* Assist accounts through onboarding and their first bind

\n

* Work across sales, underwriting, and operations to resolve blockers

\n

* Maintain accurate activity, notes, and opportunities in the CRM

\n

* Identify additional revenue and distribution opportunities within your accounts

\n

Prior experience in sales, insurance, trucking, logistics, recruiting, athletics, military service, fundraising, or another competitive environment is helpful but not required.

\n

\n

Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.

\n

Leadership & the Trucking Program

\n

\n

Corgi’s trucking business is being built alongside the company’s executive leadership and a team with experience across insurance, transportation technology, finance, M&A, underwriting, and distribution.

\n

\n

The program is led by Co-CEOs Drew Bregman and Brianna Lynch, alongside Daniel Hausman, VP of Trucking Program. Drew’s background spans transportation technology, company building, M&A, and go-to-market. Brianna’s background includes EY, HarbourVest Partners, and Affiliated Managers Group, with experience across finance, M&A, corporate development, and investor relations. Daniel has spent his career building and scaling commercial trucking insurance programs across underwriting, capacity, distribution, operations, and technology.

BDRs will have direct exposure to the people building the business and the opportunity to learn both the sales and insurance sides of the industry.

This is intended to be a launchpad, not a static BDR position.

\n

\n

Strong performers can progress into Account Executive, Account Management, Operations, and other roles as the trucking organization expands.

Compensation & Benefits

\n

\n

Base Salary: $60,000–$80,000OTE: $130,000+Benefits: Health, dental, vision, and 401(k)

\n

\n

Variable compensation is performance-based and subject to the applicable compensation plan.
