Responsible for taking on roles in customer service, operations, procurement, compliance, planning, and rate negotiation.# **KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*** Manage, train, provide performance feedback and assign duties of direct reports to ensure productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness* Develop and implement sourcing, procurement, and operations strategies that result in the most efficient pick-up and delivery performance while maintaining peak profit margins* Communicate and develop relationships with customers, carriers, and internal employees* Ensure compliance with all regulations as an asset-based carrier while ensuring partner carriers are providing safe and secure transportation under the contractual terms and conditions set by the company* Manage the review, audit, and approval of all freight invoices to ensure accurate processing and profitability while maintaining a satisfactory cash flow* Collaborate with cross functional supply chain leaders to resolve issues and provide logistics related solution recommendations* Manage and monitor Key Performance Indicators and cost factors impacting operational effectiveness# **ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**# **MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)*** Bachelors degree in related field or equivalent work experience* 2 years 3PL management, rate and contract negotiation experience within a Logistics function* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with internal and external customers* Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite* Ability to read, analyze, and interpret company policies, procedures, and agreements* Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multi-task various and conflicting responsibilities* Strong conflict management skills, including those involving sensitive and complex mattersWhy Lineage?
