Join us.Job DescriptionAECOM is seeking a Construction Project Manager to be located in Mill Valley, CA.Job Duties to include:Manages, oversees and coordinates all facets of the pre-construction, bid and award, construction and close-out phase of all assigned projectsReviews pre-construction documents and submits comments to Designer as necessaryPlans, organizes, and prepares reports to upper management with respect to the status and/or progress of the projectsCoordinates with all pertinent public agencies during pre-construction and construction to comply with all off-site work, coordinates with various District and Project staffManages both the project budget and schedule to meet the District’s qualitative standards monitors the project budget on a monthly basis and ensures that the budget accurately reflects the project status/progressManages daily activities of the contractor, reviews contract construction schedules submittals and coordinates responses to the contractors’ inquiries and other related documentsReviews substitution submittals from contractors to ensure specification and/or District requirements are complied withReceives, reviews, and negotiates Contractor Change Order Proposal(s) to achieve a fair & reasonable price in accordance with the General Conditions; reviews and addresses any and all Schedule impacts in accordance with the project specifications in a timely mannerReviews the process and monitors payments for the contractor, architects, engineers and any other pertinent partiesPosition has significant profit/loss responsibility for assigned construction project.Administers provisions of Professional Service Agreements between Architects and the DistrictCoordinates District delivery of related fixtures, furniture and equipmentProvides overall management administration to project and assists in establishing project specific objectives and policies. Provides technical direction and guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, maintains close client interface, and ensures all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule through subordinate managers and supervisors. Monitors and manages project close-out with respect to project certification with the Division of State Architects (DSA) and project financial close outPerform other related duties as assignedQualificationsMinimum Requirements:BA/BS + 4 Years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or educationPreferred Qualifications:Experience with the Division of State Architect (DSA) construction/design processesExperience with landfill site construction and State and Local Agency coordinationExperience in managing multiple projects concurrently; proficiency in managing construction on active educational facilitiesExperience with Division of State Architect (DSA) Design and Construction processesK-14 Project ExperienceLease Lease Back ExperienceAdditional InformationSponsorship is not available for this roleAbout AECOMAECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
