OVERVIEWWe are currently seeking an Assistant Project Manager for our Pacific North Water Division in the Bay Area.Preferred Water Project Experience: Experience supporting the design, construction, commissioning, and startup of complex water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including advanced water and wastewater treatment facilities, recycled water systems, treatment plant expansions, pump stations, storage reservoirs, force mains, gravity sewer systems, large-diameter water transmission and distribution pipelines, and underground utility networks. Projects may include municipal, industrial, or public utility infrastructure requiring regulatory compliance, permitting, quality control, testing and commissioning, and coordination with owners, public agencies, utility providers, and multidisciplinary project teams to successfully deliver critical water infrastructure.Does the idea of working on interesting and complex projects bring you joy? RESPONSIBILITIESProject planning, scheduling and coordination, including participation in work plan developmentSafety and quality control managementAccurate forecasting and management of budgetsChange order managementManaging critical subcontractors and process equipment suppliersCoordination with design consultants through design completion on Design-Build projectsObtain and review submittals for compliance with contract documents and distribute to Owner/design consultants for formal reviewDraft and submit Requests for Information as requiredAssume responsible charge of process mechanical material and equipment tracking, including development of detailed takeoffs/logs and ensuring delivery prior to scheduled installation datesManage Project Engineers and collaborate with other Assistant Project Managers in responsible charge of other scopes of workResolution of problems involving labor disputes, material delivery and contract administrationMaintain vehicle, equipment, and tools managementQUALIFICATIONS4+ years of experienceBachelor’s degree preferred Previous water treatment construction experience preferredAbility to establish relationships and lead peopleSpecific roles may require relocationSalary Range: $99,000 - 149,000/YrThe Walsh Group, Ltd.
