We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join an onsite team in Pittsburg, CA. This Long-term Contract opportunity is well suited for someone who enjoys supporting customers, managing order-related details, and working closely with internal teams to keep daily operations running smoothly. The role calls for strong communication, sound organizational skills, and confidence using office software while learning company-specific systems.

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers by handling questions about product availability, pricing, equipment, and order status through phone and email.

• Enter new orders accurately and relay important job details to yard and operations teams so work can be carried out without delay.

• Partner with sales and operations personnel to help coordinate fulfillment timelines and resolve issues that could affect service delivery.

• Maintain accurate customer records and keep order information current within internal databases and support systems.

• Use Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Excel, and other Office tools to manage communication, track information, and support day-to-day administrative tasks.

• Learn the company's dispatching and order management platforms through provided training and apply them effectively in daily work.

• Monitor multiple requests at once, prioritize urgent matters, and provide timely follow-up to customers and internal stakeholders.

• Support a high-quality customer experience by communicating clearly, professionally, and with attention to detail in every interaction.

• At least 2 years of experience in customer service, administrative support, order entry, or a similar business support role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and internal teams.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including data entry and finding information within spreadsheets.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook and Teams, along with general computer literacy.
• Ability to learn new software quickly and adapt to company systems used for dispatching and order processing.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities, stay organized, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable, collaborative, and positive approach to work, with a strong willingness to learn and contribute to the team.
