Work Environment\n

The ideal candidate will work remotely, providing teletherapy and virtual support to students across various educational institutions. This position allows for flexible scheduling, though you will be expected to be accessible Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts, rotating weekends, and on-call availability for urgent mental health situations. Our remote work structure is supported by user-friendly telehealth platforms and virtual communication tools, ensuring seamless interaction with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for individual students, incorporating their personal backgrounds, specific needs, and mental health concerns.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans in collaboration with each student, focusing on therapeutic goals that improve their mental health and support their reintegration into mainstream schooling.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and trauma-focused therapy, to address a range of emotional and behavioral challenges faced by students.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at enhancing emotional regulation, social skills, and coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate with teachers, school counselors, and other mental health professionals to ensure a cohesive and multidisciplinary approach to student care.

• Provide crisis intervention support during emergencies; utilize de-escalation techniques and coordinate with on-site staff for immediate response when necessary.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Washington.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
