TFMMS Analyst

Duties

• You will serve as a TFMMS Analyst and advisor to leadership on the evaluation of the effectiveness of the total force manpower program and the efficient use of manpower resources
• You will be responsible for the oversight and analysis of all aspects of an Activity Manpower Document.
• You will be responsible for the quantity and quality audit review of billets; coordinate action(s) with the activities, that are out-of-balance.
• You will organize and assemble manpower data to prepare manpower reports and presentations for supervisor, supported activities, or echelon I and II staffs.

• Generally, current federal employees applying for GS jobs must serve at least one year at the next lower grade level. This requirement is called time-in-grade. Time-in-grade requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement.
• Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

• You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.

Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes duties related to the following:

• Demonstrating mastery of quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques, force design methodologies, and long-range workforce planning principles;
• Working knowledge of Department of the Navy and Department of War programs, missions, and policies related to Total Force Manpower and Force Design;
• Understanding of Navy organizational and command structures;
• Executing enterprise-level manpower data calls and utilizing manpower systems.
