Job DescriptionAs a Security Guard Part Time Patrol Risk Assessment in San Carlos, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a public transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to passengers, employees, and visitors. Pay Rate: $29.79 / Hour
Job Schedule:
DayTimeFri11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSat11:00 PM - 07:00 AMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to passengers, employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at public transportation facilities and surrounding transit areas.
- Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit properties, platforms, facilities, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points, observe activity within assigned areas, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation in accordance with site-specific procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
