Field Inspector CLASSIFICATION: Exempt

POSITION OVERVIEW:

ADB is a Nationwide full turnkey provider of technology infrastructure solutions including Wireline, Wireless, Technology, Critical Infrastructure, and Engineering. ADB is seeking a Field Inspector to conduct daily quality inspections on various construction projects to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and production standards, reviewing project plans to confirm adherence to customer specification. The ideal candidate brings a proven knowledge of utility construction standards and best practices, with a strong work ethic and an ALL IN mindset to drive results.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Conduct onsite inspections for construction projects of various sizes and scopes Inspect workmanship, materials, and installation practices for compliance with project requirements Identify deficiencies, safety concerns, or production issues and communicate findings to project teams Coordinate with project managers, construction teams, and field personnel to address project issues Review permits, right-of-way (ROW) requirements, and jurisdictional regulations for compliance Support project management teams with real-time field updates and site condition information Prepare detailed inspection reports documenting project progress, quality, and compliance results Work with vendors and subcontractors to address quality concerns and reinforce standards Provide supporting documentation for installation verification and customer billing requirements Oversee and direct the work of internal field crews and external subcontractors onsite, exercising independent judgment to assign work, set priorities, evaluate performance against quality and safety standards, and direct corrective action to ensure project execution meets ADB and customer requirements Contributes to team KPI’s to align to the overall department and team scorecard success Upholds ADB’s safety culture, leads by example, and drives a philosophy of ZERO throughout the entire organization Perform additional responsibilities as needed
