Licensed Practical NurseCompensation: 35$ – 39.50$ per hour Location: 3700 Vestal Rd. Vestal, New York 13850Position Overview: We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team at a Long Term Care facility. The LPN will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality nursing care and support to residents, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being.Schedule / Shift:In need LPNs for evenings and overnights. We are looking for full time 8-hour shifts but will consider 12-hour shifts.6:45am – 3:15pm, 2:45pm – 11:15pm, & 10:45pm – 7:15amKey DutiesCollect and document patient admission information, including medical history and insurance detailsAssist the RN in delivering comprehensive nursing careRecord vital signs and other health indicatorsPrepare patients for medical examinations and collect test samplesAdminister medications and injections as prescribedTreat and dress wounds and bedsoresSupervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) as neededSupport patients with personal hygiene and dressingMonitor and document food and fluid intake and outputRequirements: Licenses / CertificationsCurrent and valid New York State LPN licenseUp-to-date medical clearance, including COVID-19 vaccinationBLS certification (Basic Life Support)Experience NeededMinimum 1 year of experience in a Long Term Care setting preferenceSkillsUnderstanding patient needs and providing comfort, which enhances trust and patient satisfactionEffectively interacting with patients, families, and healthcare teams to relay important information and provide emotional supportAssessing patient conditions, prioritizing care, and making quick decisions, especially in emergenciesAdjusting to changing patient needs, healthcare protocols, and dynamic work environmentsCoordinating with nurses, doctors, and nursing assistants, and sometimes overseeing support staffBenefits • Comprehensive benefits that include medical, dental, and vision • Company-paid Basic Life/AD&D and Long-Term Disability for employees working 30+ hours/week • Paid sick leave may be available based on hours worked and state laws • Benefit offerings are subject to legal requirements, eligibility status, and work location • Employees 21+ can participate in the 401(k) Savings PlanAbout Us RCM Healthcare Services works with professionals across schools, healthcare, and community-based settings nationwide.
