Receptionist

We are seeking a welcoming, organized, and reliable Receptionist to be the face and voice of our organization (bilingual Spanish a Huge Plus!). As the primary point of contact, you will greet visitors, answer phone calls, manage appointments, and assist clients in both English and Spanish. Your role is vital in creating a supportive, culturally responsive, and efficient environment for everyone who walks through our doors.

salary: $20 - $22 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Client & Visitor Support: Warmly welcome community members, clients, guests, and donors. Answer questions, provide information about programs, and direct individuals to the appropriate staff or community resources in Providence.
• Bilingual Spanish Communication a huge plus! Provide seamless interpretation and translation assistance at the front desk, via phone, and for basic written materials (forms, flyers, notices) in English and Spanish.
• Front Desk Operations: Answer multi-line phone calls, screen and route incoming communications, check main voicemails, and manage incoming/outgoing mail or deliveries.
• Scheduling & Intake: Assist clients with intake forms, schedule appointments for staff members, and maintain accurate visitor logs using our client management database.
• Administrative Assistance: Maintain a tidy, welcoming reception area. Order office supplies, assist with event prep, process mailings, and perform general administrative tasks as needed.
