For more information, visit Qualifications Possesses and maintains current license to practice medicine in the State of Maryland required. Possesses and maintains current Board Certification or Board eligible within General Surgery required. Possesses and maintains current DEA or similar Narcotics and Controlled Substances Certification required. Possesses and maintains, if applicable, appropriate clinical privileges at a minimum of one UMMS‑affiliated acute care facility. Demonstrates meeting minimum CME requirements for licensure and board certification. Demonstrates appropriate qualifications and experience to perform the duties required of this position. Annual salary: $485,406.00 . “The posted compensation reflects the range based on current median MGMA and SullivanCotter benchmarks. Actual compensation will be commensurate with the physician’s experience, training, and qualifications”. Other Compensation : generous sign‑on package, including your choice of a $20,000–$25,000 sign‑on bonus or a $50,000 housing allowance toward the purchase of a home in your first year. We also offer relocation assistance up to $10,000 and a competitive production bonus—all designed to support your transition and long‑term success.
