Collect and process donor samples for processing and testing Record product and sample weights Label samples and freeze units within the required timeframe Pack units for final shipment Pack samples and prepare shipping boxes for shipment to the testing laboratory Monitor stored products Report equipment working conditions Maintain accurate donor files Support shipping and inventory control Maintain active communication and quality standards Requirements High School diploma or GED Superior customer service standards Ability to work a flexible schedule Great organizational, computer, and troubleshooting skills Comfortable being exposed to extreme temperatures Ability to comprehend and follow oral and written instructions Ability to listen to and understand information presented through spoken words and sentences Ability to perform precise coordinated finger, hand, and wrist movements Ability to handle exposure to biological fluids and potential infectious organisms Ability to meet physical demands including standing 4-6 hours per day, bending and twisting, frequent hand and foot movement, walking up to 1-2 hours per day, and lifting up to 50 lbs Hearing acuity essential Color perception/discrimination and correctable near and far vision requirements Must be able to work in a plasma center environment with exposure to electrical, office, laboratory, and freezer equipment Core Competencies Demonstrates strong organizational and troubleshooting skills while maintaining accurate donor files and adhering to quality standards in a plasma center environment.
