Role Description The Assistant Manager is a full-time, on-site role located in Rochester Hills, MI. This position supports daily operations of the indoor playground, including supervising staff, monitoring play areas, and ensuring safety and cleanliness standards are consistently met. The Assistant Manager helps coordinate and execute birthday parties, group events, and open play sessions, while delivering friendly, professional customer service to families and guests. Responsibilities include assisting with scheduling, training team members, handling cash and point-of-sale activities, managing inventory for concessions and party supplies, and addressing guest inquiries or concerns. The role also contributes to local marketing efforts, implements company policies, and collaborates with the General Manager to meet operational and revenue goals. Qualifications Experience in customer service, hospitality, or family entertainment environments, with a focus on creating positive guest experiences. Skills in team leadership, staff supervision, and training, including the ability to motivate and support a diverse team. Operational skills in basic scheduling, cash handling, point-of-sale systems, and inventory management. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues. Ability to maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and compliance with company policies and local regulations. Comfort working in a fast-paced, active environment, including standing for extended periods and assisting with light physical tasks. Prior experience in event coordination, party planning, or retail management is beneficial. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, hospitality, or a related field is a plus.
