We are looking for an Account Manager (m/w/d) Chromatography & Mass Spectrometry based on your place of residence, ideally in the greater Stuttgart area (Ulm Lindau Singen) Sales area: Hessen, Baden-Wrttemberg, and Bavaria.
Account Manager (m/w/d) Responsibilities
Contribute significantly to the growth and success of our division for chromatography and mass spectrometry (CMD). Play a central role in the sales of our high-quality products. Your main focus is building and maintaining long-term customer relationships, identifying strategic potentials, and working closely with internal teams to ensure smooth business processes. With your sense for the essentials, you shape:
- Identification and prioritization of new sales opportunities in the field of analytical measurement instruments
- Care and expansion of existing customer relationships with the aim of strengthening and further developing our entire portfolio
- Analysis of customer needs and development of tailored solutions
- Creation and negotiation of offers up to the successful conclusion
- Development and reporting of strategic measures with the help of our customer management software
- Creative cross-selling to fully exploit the sales area
With heart and vision, you take on:
- Close coordination with colleagues from sales, service, and application for optimal customer support
- Representation of Thermo Fisher Scientific at trade fairs, customer events, and technical presentations
- Active knowledge transfer within and between different business areas to promote shared successes
Your expertise unfolds in:
- Bachelor's degree or vocational training in the field of natural sciences with comparable several years of professional experience
- Proven success in the sales of complex investment goods (GC/IC/HPLC/ICP/MS) and software, ideally in the scientific-technical environment
- Enthusiasm for participation e.g., in specialist committees, customer events, or internal initiatives
- Confident demeanor, independent working style, self-organization with a focus on the essentials, initiative, and reliability
- Travel readiness, mainly within the sales region
- Creativity in developing sales strategies
- Ability to convey complex technical relationships in a comprehensible and customer-oriented manner
- Strong internal networking awareness to utilize synergies
- English skills and confident use of MS Office and customer management software
