JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery
  
• Licenses: Active Michigan License
  
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
  
• Other Qualifications:
  
• Clean malpractice and license history;
  
• NPDB self-query required
  
• Must be able to work independently
  

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide cardiothoracic surgical coverage at Sparrow Lansing Main Hospital.
  
• Perform adult cardiac and thoracic surgeries including CABG, heart valve repair/replacement, thoracotomy, and mediastinal procedures.
  
• Manage night call and round on patients as required.
  
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team in a Level I trauma center.
  
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR.
