Primary Responsibilities
- Greet every family, child, and staff member in a positive and welcoming manner
- Answer phones in a professional and courteous manner
- Data entry involving confidential child and family information
- Supports the Leadership Team in helping schedule appointments and reaching out to prospective families
- Assists in daily class functions of a group of children upon request and business needs, such as covering classroom breaks when needed
- Assists in the kitchen and food service program
- Observes all rules and regulations at Primrose School of Berkeley Heights and the local, state, or national regulatory agencies in the health, safety, and care of children
- Assists in other capacities that the Director, or designee, determines are necessary
- Must meet basic requirements of child care regulatory agency
- Previous office experience required
- Previous experience working with children preferred
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situation
